CERRO SAN GIL

It has an extension of 47, 433 hectares and a range of altitude between sea level of up to 4156 feet above sea level, which allows a high biodiversity. Within this protected area there is a monitoring program for migratory birds, as well as hiking and birding trails inside the tropical forest. It is probably the main destination of nature based tourism for cruise travellers visiting Guatemala over the Atlantic Ocean.
